Easy 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cups

If you’re looking for a fun, easy treat to make, you should try making homemade peanut butter cups! I make them for my hubby for Valentine’s Day every year, and he loves them. (Nothing says “I love you” more than peanut butter and chocolate, right?!) The best part is that it’s a really simple recipe, and you only need 3 ingredients. You can even get your kids or stepkids involved in making them, too!

Ingredients

  • 1 bar (4 oz.) of white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1 bag (12 oz.) of semisweet chocolate chips

How to Make 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cups

Line a mini muffin pan with 24 paper liners.

Combine white chocolate and peanut butter in a bowl, and microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between intervals, until melted.

Pour the chocolate chips into another bowl and microwave them in 30-second intervals, stirring between intervals, until melted.

Spoon half of the melted chocolate chips into each muffin tin to form the bottom layer of the cups. (I like to use a small spoon – it’s so much easier to use with the mini muffin tins!) Spoon the peanut butter mixture over the chocolate layer. Place the muffin tin in the freezer for about 10 minutes until the peanut butter layer hardens slightly. Then spoon the remaining chocolate on top of the peanut butter layer. Put the muffin tin back in the freezer until the peanut butter cups are firm, about 10 – 15 minutes.

Store peanut butter cups in the refrigerator, and see how long they last!
